At WENZEL, we are expanding our high-precision Gantry series to offer our customers the highest possible measurement accuracy in even more sizes and formats.

What makes gantry construction so special?

In contrast to conventional portal measuring devices, which are perfectly suited for many standard applications, gantry technology uses a superior design:

• Increased stiffness: In the larger gantry models, the entire structure is significantly more stable thanks to raised guides on both sides.
• Innovative design for smaller sizes: For our smaller gantry models, we rely on the Half gantry construction. Here, the elevated guide is only used on one side to create the perfect balance between compactness and maximum precision.
• Resistant to fluctuations: One Granite Z support makes the machine immune to aging and temperature fluctuations, which ensures measurement accuracy over the long term.

This design enables us to reduce mechanical errors to a minimum and thus achieve an accuracy that would be difficult to achieve with portal machines.
