The new LH-S KMGs: modular, dynamic, precise
The new LH-S series models are a highlight at the WENZEL stand. They are based on a modular system that allows flexible adjustments in length, width and height — and thus offers tailor-made solutions for a wide range of requirements. In addition to improved space requirements and greater sustainability, the machines impress with increased dynamics and precision. On an LH 67, WENZEL is showing the REVO 5-axis measurement system from Renishaw, which sets new standards, particularly for complex tactile tasks. This makes it possible to record sophisticated geometries faster and more precisely.
Automated production measurement technology with roughness analysis
WENZEL is also setting new standards on the shop floor. With systems such as SF 87, WENZEL demonstrates how quality assurance can be seamlessly integrated into production. Automated loading, fast cycle times and a compact machine design ensure maximum efficiency in the production environment. This makes production measurement technology an integral part of modern production lines — flexible, robust and ready for direct use on the machine at any time. In addition, there is also a greater focus on roughness measurement. Special sensor solutions allow surfaces to be analyzed close to production and provide important parameters such as roughness and waviness, which are decisive for the running behavior of gears, for example.
GT 450 — precision for gears and shafts
With the GT 450, WENZEL presents a real power package for gear measurement. Whether it's small transmission modules, rotationally symmetrical components in the automotive industry or large shafts in commercial vehicles — the machine provides maximum precision and flexibility. The GT series supports a wide range of industries from aviation to the energy industry to mechanical and plant engineering. Users benefit from precise measurement results, which ensure reliable quality assurance even with complex workpieces.
Software solutions for digital processes
Digitalization and networking also shape WENZEL's software solutions. The new version of the WM | Quartis R2025-2 measurement software offers extended functions for point clouds, temperature compensation and live data integration. This makes it even easier and more reproducible to measure complex geometries such as turbine blades or free-form surfaces. This is complemented by smart interfaces for the production environment and new options for optical measurement, which now also include the turntable as a fourth axis. In this way, components can be scanned in a rotational manner and digitized particularly efficiently.
Technical presentation “Multi-Sensors” at the VDMA Technology Forum
Anyone who would like to delve deeper has the opportunity to attend a presentation by Dr. François Torner at the VDMA Technology Forum (Hall 4, Booth C26, Wednesday, September 24, 2025, 10:45 a.m.). Under the title “Multi-sensors for production-related measurement technology,” he shows how optical sensors, roughness measurement and retrofit solutions increase efficiency, precision and sustainability in production. Particular attention is paid to the question of how different sensor technologies can be combined sensibly and how retrofit measures can make existing CMM structures fit for the future.
