With the HA Series, WENZEL is making a clear statement in high-accuracy coordinate metrology. This series of machines was consistently developed for measurement tasks where there is no tolerance for uncertainty — wherever measurement results validate processes, control decisions and serve as a binding reference.
The technological basis of the HA Series is the proven half-gantry architecture of the LH Series. However, for use in the high-accuracy segment, this platform was specifically further developed and constructively raised to a new level of precision. Central components, guides and supporting structures were reinforced, bearing distances increased and the entire mass distribution redesigned — with a clear goal: minimal basic errors and maximum measurement stability.
At the heart of the machine is the massive granite machine body. The natural hard rock ensures exceptionally stable thermal behavior, high intrinsic stiffness and excellent vibration damping. The base, truss and quill consist entirely of granite and behave thermally homogeneously — a crucial prerequisite for reproducible measurement results at the highest level.
The mechanical concept is supplemented by selected manufacturing processes and extended correction and compensation functions. The result is a coordinate measuring machine that ensures consistently high measurement accuracy even under the most demanding conditions — even with large measurement ranges and over long periods of time.
